Terms and Conditions

1. About these terms

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of cociniro.com and any order you place with Cociniro ("we," "us," "our"). By placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

2. What we sell

Cociniro sells meal-kit bundles: fresh, uncooked, pre-portioned ingredients delivered to your door for you to cook at home, together with the recipe for each meal. Bundles are not ready-to-eat meals — please follow the cooking instructions on each recipe card, including any food-safety guidance, before eating.

3. Placing an order

Each bundle contains 3 meals (about 2 servings each) for a flat EGP 1,600, with free delivery. You can order more than one bundle in a single checkout.

You'll review your bundle, delivery details, and total before confirming — please check everything carefully, as we prepare your order based on what you submit.

A meal's availability can change between browsing and checkout — for example, if it sells out. If that happens, we'll let you know before you complete your order so you can choose something else.

All prices are in Egyptian Pounds (EGP) and include any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

4. Payment

Cash on Delivery is currently our only payment method — you pay in cash when your order arrives. Card and mobile wallet payment, processed securely by our payment partner Paymob, are coming soon. For Cash on Delivery orders, please have the exact amount ready where possible.

5. Delivery

Delivery areas, time windows, and handling guidance are set out in our Delivery Policy, which forms part of these Terms. We don't offer same-day delivery — the earliest you can choose is always the next available day, no matter what time you place your order.

6. Cancellations and changes

You can cancel or change your order free of charge up until 1 hour before your scheduled delivery window, by contacting us on WhatsApp with your order number. Once an order has moved into preparation, we may not be able to change or cancel it — but reach out and we'll do what we can. If you paid online and your order is cancelled before preparation begins, we'll refund the full amount to your original payment method within 7–14 working days.

7. If something's wrong with your order

If an item is missing, damaged, or incorrect, contact us within 24–48 hours of delivery at hello@cociniro.com or WhatsApp, with your order number and, where possible, a photo. We'll make it right — by redelivering the correct item, a credit, or a refund, at our discretion depending on the situation.

8. Food safety and allergens

Our ingredients are fresh and uncooked. Refrigerate chilled items promptly on arrival, follow the storage and cooking guidance on each recipe card, and cook ingredients — especially meat, poultry, and seafood — to a safe internal temperature before eating.

9. Your information

Cociniro doesn't currently require an account — you check out as a guest each time using your name, phone, and email. Keep your order number and checkout email handy, as you'll need them to look up your order status.

10. Intellectual property

All content on cociniro.com — including our name, logo, recipes, photography, and site design — belongs to Cociniro or our licensors and may not be copied or reused without our written permission.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Egyptian law, Cociniro's liability for any claim relating to your order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing here limits any liability that can't legally be limited, such as for gross negligence or willful misconduct.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Egypt, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time; the current version is always posted here. Changes won't affect an order you've already placed.
